The organisers of SheMet 2027 are pleased to announce the 22nd edition of this biennial International Conference on Sheet Metal, to be held in Lisbon, Portugal. The conference will be hosted by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, from 23 to 25 March 2027.

SheMet 2027 aims to provide a high-level forum for researchers, academics, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, share recent advances, and foster early dissemination of research results and technology transfer in sheet metal processing. The program welcomes contributions spanning experimental research and development, as well as analytical and numerical modelling.

By combining technical presentations with dedicated opportunities for discussion and networking, SheMet 2027 seeks to stimulate new perspectives, encourage collaboration, and support a valuable interchange of ideas across the sheet metal community.
